Response: The class felt so long, it took eons before it ended. The lesson we learned was a bit enlightening. It wasn't the most boring assignment. 


Summary: In class we reviewed rhetorical devices and what a hyperbole, understatement, and a litote is.  


Reflection: I reflected on how much I use these devices in daily life.

I was unfortunately stuck spending the majority of the days trying to recover and get better from being sick. On the bright side, I spent the rest of my break traveling to Maryland, and I rode a plane for the first time. First, this year I want to achieve my personal goal of gaining better spending habits by spending less money and saving more. This goal is important to me because I have a bad habit of spending money too quickly, and I want to save money for more expensive things that I want.
