 Prompt: Write about a time when you were judged unfairly.

Response: Occasionally I've been judged by my appearance from people. There have been times where people have told me that they thought I was "mean" or "upset" because of my resting face. My resting face can look very neutral or un-amused to a lot of people. This can be considered unfair because they thought that before getting to know me. It's good to not judge a book by its cover.


Summary: We worked on a CommonLit assignment about fear.


Reflection: I reflected on what kind of fears I have personally that would protect me.

Response: During Thanksgiving, I wanted to make mac n cheese for dinner. We held a small Thanksgiving dinner with my oldest sister. I was unfortunately stuck spending the majority of the days trying to recover and get better from being sick. On the bright side, I spent the rest of my break traveling to Maryland, and I rode a plane for the first time. First, this year I want to achieve my personal goal of gaining better spending habits by spending less money and saving more. This goal is important to me because I have a bad habit of spending money too quickly, and I want to save money for more expensive things that I want.
