 Prompt: Describe a time when you took a hiatus from something important. What led to the break, and how did it impact you?

Response: There was a period of time where I took a hiatus from a project in my photography two class. It was a fairly large project involving classic film cameras. I was having difficulty having my photos shown on the film even with the help of my teacher. I wasted 2 canisters of film and I felt really bad about it. This led me to give up and procrastinate. I didn't end up completing the project and it only effected my grade a little but it also effected what motivation I had to get it done.


Summary: We began to learn about rhetorical devices. 


Reflection: I thought about rhetorical vs literary devices.

  Prompt:  Discuss something meaningful or memorable you experienced over the break, or reflect on what you felt most thankful for during that time. Response: During Thanksgiving, I wanted to make mac n cheese for dinner. We held a small Thanksgiving dinner with my oldest sister. Baked mac n cheese is one of my favorite dishes so I wanted to include that into the dinner. I was very proud with how it turned out and I even used sourdough bread as the breading on top. That dish was the most memorable thing because it was really good and it's a recipe that I'll make again. My family liked it as well. Summary: In class we reviewed new vocabulary.  Reflection: I reflected on how I can memorize all of the vocab we learned.
