 Prompt: Write about what you are thankful for

Response: I am thankful for my clothes and being able to style how I look. I'm glad to have a sense of fashion that I can express freely. To add on, I am thankful for the money to be able to buy the clothes and accessories that I have. I am also very thankful for my pet geckos. My geckos are incredibly important to me and I wouldn't have found my love for herpetology without them. 


Summary: In class we worked on exercises over new vocabulary words. 


Reflection: I reflected on how I can write faster.

Response: During Thanksgiving, I wanted to make mac n cheese for dinner. We held a small Thanksgiving dinner with my oldest sister. Baked mac n cheese is one of my favorite dishes so I wanted to include that into the dinner. I was very proud with how it turned out and I even used sourdough bread as the breading on top. That dish was the most memorable thing because it was really good and it's a recipe that I'll make again. My family liked it as well. I was unfortunately stuck spending the majority of the days trying to recover and get better from being sick. On the bright side, I spent the rest of my break traveling to Maryland, and I rode a plane for the first time. First, this year I want to achieve my personal goal of gaining better spending habits by spending less money and saving more. This goal is important to me because I have a bad habit of spending money too quickly, and I want to save money for more expensive things that I want. To gain this skill, I will set a budget of only spending a maximum of $20 per week.
