Response: The south holds a lot of memories for me. I grew up in a low income family in southern Georgia which impacted me emotionally and in different ways. It's a huge difference from living in the city and it holds a lot of memories for me. It has fed into my love for the outdoors and southern hospitality. It was also where I was raised as a kid so there's feelings of nostalgia that come from visiting the south. There are positive feelings that come from it like nostalgia and peace, but there are a few negative ones from being raised in a conservative town. Even though I love the south, I'd much rather prefer living here.


Summary: In class we started to read a story called "A Rose for Emily".


Reflection: I reflected on different places that hold memories for me.
