 Prompt: Write about a dream that felt real. 

Response: There was a time I had a dream that predicted what was happening in real life. While I was sleeping, I had a dream where I was laying in bed. I could hear my mother in the kitchen moving around pots and I got up to investigate what was happening. I saw that she was making instant ramen. When I woke up from my dream, I could hear my mom in the kitchen. When I went into the kitchen, she was making instant ramen just like my dream. It was a strange experience that I had. 


Summary: In class we explored new vocabulary and read an online article.


Reflection: I reflected on how I can write faster while keeping it neat.

Response: During Thanksgiving, I wanted to make mac n cheese for dinner. We held a small Thanksgiving dinner with my oldest sister. I was unfortunately stuck spending the majority of the days trying to recover and get better from being sick. On the bright side, I spent the rest of my break traveling to Maryland, and I rode a plane for the first time. First, this year I want to achieve my personal goal of gaining better spending habits by spending less money and saving more. This goal is important to me because I have a bad habit of spending money too quickly, and I want to save money for more expensive things that I want. To gain this skill, I will set a budget of only spending a maximum of $20 per week.
