 Prompt: What did you do over the break?

Response: Over the break, I mostly relaxed and didn't do much. Although, I got to celebrate my best friend's birthday with her at her house. We had a sleepover where I got her a gift and we watched a movie. That was fun, but no other plans were made. I was lazy over the break and took the chance to sleep in. 


Summary: We started working a comic strip using new vocabulary we learned.


Reflection: I wondered how I can improve my art.

Response: During Thanksgiving, I wanted to make mac n cheese for dinner. We held a small Thanksgiving dinner with my oldest sister. Baked mac n cheese is one of my favorite dishes so I wanted to include that into the dinner. I was very proud with how it turned out and I even used sourdough bread as the breading on top. That dish was the most memorable thing because it was really good and it's a recipe that I'll make again. My family liked it as well. I was unfortunately stuck spending the majority of the days trying to recover and get better from being sick. On the bright side, I spent the rest of my break traveling to Maryland, and I rode a plane for the first time. First, this year I want to achieve my personal goal of gaining better spending habits by spending less money and saving more. This goal is important to me because I have a bad habit of spending money too quickly, and I want to save money for more expensive things that I want.
