 Prompt: Describe a time when someone’s words had a lasting impact on you.

Response: There was one time a friend of mine told me "a friend to everyone is a friend to no one" and that stuck with me. I was having complications with an old friend of mine who wasn't loyal and would befriend problematic people. There are types of people like this that are common, where they put popularity above loyalty or what's right in friendships. When I notice this behavior I always remember  this quote. It's commonly used between me and my friend. 


Summary: We wrote the rest of our claim on Writable. 


Reflection: I reflected on how I can explain things better.

Response: During Thanksgiving, I wanted to make mac n cheese for dinner. We held a small Thanksgiving dinner with my oldest sister. I was unfortunately stuck spending the majority of the days trying to recover and get better from being sick. On the bright side, I spent the rest of my break traveling to Maryland, and I rode a plane for the first time. First, this year I want to achieve my personal goal of gaining better spending habits by spending less money and saving more. This goal is important to me because I have a bad habit of spending money too quickly, and I want to save money for more expensive things that I want.
