Prompt: Which learning method do you enjoy the most? Class discussions, worksheet work, or hands-on actvities. Select one and tell why.

Response: I enjoy working on hands-on activities the most. It is easier for me to know what to do since I am more of a visual learner. I think that it also allows me to be more creative, in which my skills lay. I also prefer working alone because it helps me focus better. It's better if the activity is about creativity.

Summary: In class we began working on our poem posters and finished writing our poems.

Reflection: I reflected on how I can add more literary devices in furture works.

Prompt:  In Into the Wild, Christopher McCandless gives up many of his possessions in pursuit of freedom and meaningful experiences. If you had to simplify your life and keep only a few important possessions, what would you keep and why? What would be hardest to leave behind? My digital camera is also important so that I can still have a hobby and so I can make money by taking photos for people. The hardest thing for me to leave behind would be my bedroom. My bedroom is highly decorated and has been a safe place for me for years so it would be hard to miss that comfort and seeing all of my interest in one room.  Summary:  In class we did an assignment on Writable over ...

Write about something you’ve outgrown but still miss.

Prompt:  Write about something you’ve outgrown but still miss. Response: Something that I've outgrown but still miss was having Kona Ice trucks come to school. Back in elementary school through 6th grade, I remember having Kona Ice trucks come and visit our school to sell snow cones. They would typically come to our school during events like field day. Whenever they came around, it was a big deal among students. I loved the snow cones and thinking back on it, it was very nostalgic and memorable for me.  Summary: We worked on an assignment about a poem from Langston Hughes. Reflection: I reflected on the different civil liberties used today.
